tips for cleaning out seat foam?

While I was rebuilding my car I left the interior seats in my basement which then..got kinda damp and mildew smelling.

I took off the covers and got it down to the foam parts-

anyone have advice of how to clean either the foam or fabric to get rid of mildew/mold?

Fabric in the washing machine. Put back on with new hogrings.
Clean foam in the laundry tub. It takes a long time to dry
Put in a windy hot place for two or three days
Your seats will look like new again.

did you use laundry detergent? something with baking soda?

Tide free.
Soak in a laundry tub first.
The water will be pitch black.
Then transfer to a washing machine.

Afterwards, the seats smell better than new from the factory.
