I bough one of these from this seller on ebay. I have bought 2 before and while they do work, I would hesitate to recommend them.
This one is much better that those two though so if you are looking for one, I would recommend it. It takes a micro sd chip rated 4 or higher.
At around $30 shipped from China, it's a good deal in my opinion.

Also has a back up camera that you can attach to it.

I got one on amazon for about $40 and it's pretty killer. Use it in my Cressida because people absolutely love cutting that car off for some reason.

I have had 4 dashcams over the years so i have a bit of an opinion on them i suppose. If you cant read a license plate its useless in my opinion.
1990new- did you try the one you linked or are the specs just better than what you got?
Lots of knockoffs on ebay of good cameras and they charge prices that make you think they arent knockoffs.
Anyway, i bought a $25 camera 4 years ago that was complete garbage. It worked and recorded but the quality was too poor to be usable.
I bought an $80 camera that was midrange 4 or 5 years ago, i have footage on the forum here from it. Its probably about the same as a $35 or $40 camera now.
Then i bought another camera for $100 which had better image quality but some of its other features were lacking.
Just last month i spent $470 CAD on a dashcam. Its amazing, lol. Beat dual channel dashcam on the market, lots of features, great video, best customer service/support/warrenty/firmware upgrades around as far as the company goes.
This is it: https://streetguardian.cam/sg9663dc $400usd with a 128gb class 10 card. Can also be had with a 64 or 256gb card.
The best bang for your buck now is the viofo a119 at around $75.
This site has a lot of good info on dashcams and which one to pick for what you want. Its a great place for info and comparisons on the cameras. https://dashcamtalk.com/best-dash-cams-of-2017/
There are reliable cameras with great daytime quality for $50 like the mini 0805.

This is the dashcam footage i shared here from my camera that was around $80 4 or 5 years ago and is probably the equivilant of a $40 camera now. The video editor wrecked the sound quality, its actually not bad. https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url...e_type=t<br />

I just uploaded some.. I had not set the date and time so that is wrong on the video This is from this past Sunday.
You can read the license plate when close behind (I think I can increase the resolution in settings too).. so the quality isn't bad for a $30 camera.
Also the time was set for only a minute... I have extended to 3 minutes for future recording and I also set the date and time.

Something strange with the uploaded clips it seem to be cutting to a different video near the end in some of the uploads.
