Vw used to use black plastic rock gaurds on the backs of rabbit diesels, rabbit pickups.etc.They weren't flares just a thin plastic cover . I have been thinking about these a long time but know nothing about working with plastic. Covers like these would be just the thing for guy's with minor rear wheel arch rust. Treat the affected area then cover it with out needing paint work. Any Idea how to fab these? I have thought carbon fiber or fiberglass, but textured black plastic just looks right. Ideas?Anyone?Bueller,Bueller.

maybe fix the rusted section as best you can with the usual body filler, sand and contour as close as patience and ability allows, mask off repaired area In the shape of a stone guard and shoot with textured spray bedliner paint or rubberized undercoating. easier still. find thin rubber sheeting like rubber roofing, stair tread, mouse pad, cut to shape and attach with 3M adhesive.

Here are the four Kia Pride mudflap part numbers.
They are a direct fit on Festivas.
You may purchase them from fourgreen.com
