    My 91 festiva L came stock with just a speedo, no tach. but i got a speedo/tach instrument panel that i need to put in. does the tach use a cable or is it electronic? are the connections for the tach already on my car? what do i need to complete this?

    there is a article in the "Wil's Articles" section of the site, but all it really requires is taking out the old cluster, pulling the speedo cable over to the side of the cluster (since the speedo is in a different place) and plugging everything back in. Yes, the tach is electronic, but it takes its signals through the same dash wires that are already in place, there's just a couple of extra pins on the plugs, thats all. So it should be plug and play.
    No festiva for me ATM...
