  • airbags in the festiva (steering wheel not suspension)

    i would like to put a new steering wheel in my car. im looking for a mazda one. are there spicific ones that fit? or would pretty much anyone fit? also, how hard is it to come across a 110 mpg tach cluster? if found, how much do they run? thanks.

      Sure it could happen, if you want to spend months changing over to an aspire computer ODBII system, rewiring the sensors in the aspire bumper into the festiva. Change the ECU... but why bother, if you get hit the airbags will hurt you more than the car.

        These can sometimes be found on Ebay UK. not often and can cost up to $100. I paid around $45 for one and $70 for the other. Other than that you would need someone in England to sell you one. And you have to get a US tach cluster to switch out the circuit board so it will work in your car.

          i talked to rodger at FMS today and he said he sometimes gets then in, and run about 60 bucks and said for me to check back in a week or two and he should have some in.
