i have aquired the two front seats from a 91 gti. ive tried to sell them, but no one locally has had any intrest. could i swap them for my festiva seats? 93L efi 5spd. i really dont have any tools, or much space to do the work. but, i do need better seats. mine have a hard time holding all 6'4" 240lbs of me when i corner. or, would this be something someone would be interested in?

any seat can go in any car as im sure you are probably aware of but to answer your question a little better go to home depot and get those pieces of metal shaped with a 90 degree angle with a bunch of holes in it and cut them up to make stationary brackets, I used those to make seat brackets for TRD racing seats in my mr2.

I'm sure you could get a thicker gauge ninety and make it work with a couple of cross bar pieces for added support.
I'm currently searching for something since JC Whitney has no stock of custom Corbeau brackets. Found that out after I blasted 90bucks to them and wasted 4 weeks of time.
Time to buy a welder and start grinding off the stock festy ones.Fesdiva is it's new name since she's acting crazy- 92 L
