        I would never paint over good paint with primer. I would just patch the bare/chipped spots and leave it like that.

        Just rustoleum the whole thing. It will be tougher.

          rhinoline or line-x the whole car!!!! you could drive it throught a forrest and not get a scratch, poviding you don't hit any trees.

              the hatch of my festiva is just primer spring im going to primer the whole car untill i can afford the actual snow white paint job i want with those 14" miata rims.. mmm.. yummy.

                Ahh.. so that's what you guys think huh? Techno has been flat black (Jersey Suede) for years.. I have been told by many many people that they like it that way.



                Oh, btw, if you don't seal it.. things like the greasy finger prints or oil will ruin the look and it could rust where there was bare metal.

                    personally i like the flat paint jobs! some primer jobs look like crap, but if it looks like a decent flat paint job (not like it was just randomly rattle-canned flat grey) i like flat...

                    that being said i think i'm going to try to polish/wax my car today, because its easier to keep clean

                            mine is going to be full out flat gray in june. then the summer after that....... phew.... SNOW WHITE! who can picture that?
