    Would like to change the shift lever in my 92 festie any suggestions?

    They do have aftermarket auto knobs. Search Ebay

      Thanks Carl, I've heard of ebay and use it often. What i was hoping for was a reply from someone who has done this procedure and maybe a little info on how it went and where they got their part.

        i swapped mine for a aluminum shift knob with a push down button, i didn't like it after about a month. i used my stock now again and love it. To take off the stock one undo the small phillips head screw on the bottom of the stock knob and the loosen the snug nut at the bottom, then unscrew the stock knob. 2 mins max to do it

            probably your best bet so you don't get stuck with a tacky looking cheap made aftermarket unit.
