aspire instrument cluster question

ok this is asked on fa.com but its kinda slow there right now, my question and a few others over there is this.

and i figure since i have an se cluster commin to me

what type of bulbs are used for the aspire clusters?

also how could i just wire in a few leds that run on 2.2v to the cluster

I got a bunch of these in blue to simulate my VW cluster. Also got some red ones for the taillights. I love how fast they turn on.
