        Cable operated. Haven't completed the installation of the control lever yet, and have only done one side so far, but it works. Pretty darn easy, I'll take lots of pictures.

          Dave, I am guessing you use from Ford Windstar van which have motor with cable operated for rear windows?

            yeah i always thought about using the motors from the windows on a windstar or other power side window mini-van, finally someone got to it though!

                    Have only done one side to work out the bugs (but then one side might be enough... ). Works nice and smoothly









                    Cable and lever came from a lawn mower repair shop. They had two different types of cable, I got the heavier of the two. The inner is darn near but not quite 1/16" dia. I got a 10' cable, which isn't really long enough - could hide it better with a couple more feet in length.
