It must be because of their aerodynamics or something but I always thought that the festiva rear windows collects a lot of dirt. Seems they are always dirty. I like the rear wiper /washer !

^^ i've actually heard that the spoilers on hatchbacks like our cars are suppose to change the aerodynamics on the back to help. i mean, it's not like pushing down on the back of a festiva is gonna give you more traction. plus the stock ones run parallel w/ the roof so it make sense that they help push air/dust past the window or something.

^^^ on your spoiler that definitely makes sense because its mounted like the ones on most old station wagons and they were done like that to direct a windstream down the window to blow off water when it rained. I would imagine that it probably helps with blowing away dust and dirt too. I need to figure out a way so I can go ahead and mount the spoiler I built for the silver car out of part of the luggage rack off my old taurus wagon. Its gonna mount on an angle similar to yours but it will be a full hoop spoiler coming down and joining with the car on the sides. I got the idea for the look off the Kia Sportage spoilers, they are awesome!
