    is the hand brake console from an auto belt car different from one from a manual belt car?

    exactly the same in my 2 festiva's.
    blue flake 89L shaved hatch, Lowered, BP swap in progress, bobtail bumper, 5spd tranny, acura 5 spoke 15" wheels and fiberglass dash

      humm.. the one from my car (auto belts) has notches where the belt latches were between it and the seat. i thought since the latches came from the back in the manual belt cars that they wouldnt have put those notches in the console.

        they are different. the way the lap belts and seats bolt in between autobelt and manual belt cars is different also.
        1992 Festiva... BP-T, Escort G5MR, no crossmember, aspire brakes, Megasquirt, Toyota COP's, coilovers and 6 puck SPEC clutch!

            definitely- the 88-89 console has a diff part # than the 90-93. heres a 90-93

              ^-- yeah, the manual belt consoles didnt have the notches on ither side for the belts
