Aside form paint, is there anything you can do to make faded bumpers look like new?

    Check with Packrat427,

He was using something that seemed to darken them up nicely.
It came in a pump sprayer.
Some sort of liquid with a silicone additive I think!

Plain old armor-all makes them look a lot better. And there is special bumper-black stuff available that does a good job too.

I use the tire wet stuff now , and did for a long time .
Last year I tried the Bumper Black stuff , It looked great when I put it on , says it will last 6 months , It did not last 2 weeks , it started flaking off ..BAD .It is a gel , and come with a sponge applicator to apply it .

I may have had some residue left on there when I applied it , but I did clean it first .

There is another brand that I have not tried yet , I think it is made by Marhyde , it is a spray on .

Lately, I have been using a spray on product called "Trim Shine" by Stoner with good results. Sprays on nice and then you can lightly buff if needed. The can says that their website is trimshine.com....go figure!!

I have also used a Turtle Wax product called "Black Chrome" in the past with good results. That one is a wipe on thick liquid. Any of these products and a little elbow grease will make a world of difference on your faded bumpers.

Mine was almost faded white too .
I did try the Mothers back to Black , That stuff is amazing !!

and it last and last , if it gets a water mark on it , just rub it and it shines right up again .
