Yup, I've got a super cheap one. It works like a charm. Wired the power through the radio wiring, and ran a wire over to the cluster harness for tach signal. Easy.

I did, until I realized I looked like a huge ricer with the big tach. If I would do any sort of tach, it would be in a custom gauge pod in the stock location...

im not gonna use a tach just a shift light mounted in my a/c vents.
There is no replacement for displacement, except for the turbo in my basement.

I use the IEQUUs 3 1/4" Super Tach about $50 w/tax at Autozone. It was wired to the radio harness until
I gutted the car. The only problem I've had was the two screws on the back shake loose an the face
starts to move around. I didn't want one of those big 5 inchers, who needs a 10000 rpm tach for a 6000 rpm car.
This one is big enough to use at speed at doesn't get in the way. - Chris

Every car I have owned has had a turbo in it, until I bought this latest festiva.. I plan to fix that though.
