    AH HA!

Now I understand what you want to do.

I wonder how hard it would be to cut apart a stock headlight. Then attach the glass into place.

the company GTO that makes headlight covers for the festiva also make clear ones

      1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
      1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Is GTO making them? I thought it was GTS (GT Styling, they were the original, and GTO has just ripped off the logo) In any case, can't seem to find a source. Any thoughts as to where to find 'em?

Using google I found this in 0.237 seconds:

I just searched google for "Ford Festiva Headlight Cover" and found all kinds of places. Most have the smoked and not the clear.

I forgot to add that I'm a combination of cheap and broke at the moment. I don't know if you've ever experienced this kind of thing before Dan, but getting US companies to ship to Canada adds a helluva lot of cost for some reason, if you can even get them to do it. If you work out the shipping rates so you have a point of reference, you'll be shocked by the way they add $50 to your estimate. EG: I found some Festy grills on eBay. It took some time to find someone who'd ship outside the continental US, and then I discovered that they wanted $130 to MAIL (regular post) my $10 grill to me? I worked out the shipping rate, and it was $13, regular post.

....and then there's Canada Customs and Revenue...I'll continue to look for used ones, or a way to make them myself.

I didn't pay $60. I think it was under $40 for my clears. I also got my bike rack from that company. I'll try to remember which it was. I should still have a packing list somewhere...

At first they said they didn't have the clears, then after talking to them by phone they said they'd try to scrounge some up. They succeeded. I have no idea if they can "scrounge up" any more clears. I did tell them I'd buy another clear set if they had 'em, but I only got the one set.

Here's a link that Mattswab had from another thread:

Not sure it was the same place I ordered from. I couldn't find my bike rack there, but they do have headlight covers from two sources. Both "special order" though.

                      Worth a try.

Thanks for the information. Now I know where to get 'em. The part number was particularly helpful.
