  • Finally got my fancy seats installed.. (Thanks Brian)

I finally got the seats I got from Brian (25horseplay) at the fall Ohiostiva installed. I still have to fix the drivers side, as the fellow that built this car decided to weld the adapters he made to the car... UGH...

I wanted the passenger side to be bolt in, so I welded up some angle iron and strap, and VIOLA! damn strong and it will unbolt with the original 4 bolts that the stocker uses.. Now, to cut the mess he made off the drivers side, and redo it..

All in all, I think they look pretty good. The color match is spot on!

Thanks for the deal Brian, these seats are comfortable as all get out.

Now, for a little tan carpet and a different steering wheel.....

Maybe I will keep this thing after all....hmmmmmmmm

Here is the front mount, I didn't get a pic of the rear, before I already had the seat bolted in..

    and the seats:

Very nice - are they a knock-off brand seat?

I've found that the knock-off's I used (Dynamic Auto Design and R1 were the 2 that I used in my cars) are actually more comfortable than the actual Sparco seats...

The car came with the one Blue and Black racing style seat as seen in my car domain link (in sig) He also gave me one stock festy tan cloth seat. I still have both of those.

I guess they are a knock off, Brian got them on clearance sale at Summit racing, they don't have a brand on them. They are pretty nicely made, and VERY VERY comfortable. Bigger than a normal racing bucket, I am a big fat boy.. 300 lbs... and these actually fit pretty well for me...

This is the seat at the summit catalog

They look exactly like the DAD & R1's that I had before... There's a place down in York PA that is selling sets of seats with sliders for $200... So if I go that route instead of these 323 GT seats that are currently in my car, I'll probably go there for them...
