My new seats are kinda dirty. The fabric is full of country road dust and such. Any tips on cleaning them?

Ok...Stefan
Go to canadian tire and it is "SIMONIZ Dri.Clean Upholstery & Carpet Cleaner" it comes in a large metal spray can
Like I said...awsome stuff....you spray it on and it foams up then you rub the foam in with a cloth or brush and then let it soak for a little..then you wipe the seats off and you can see all the dirt just cover the rag you are using.....give it a try!!!Previous owner of 8 festivas... looking for number 9

You just work the foam in and then let it sit a few mins.....I usually do both front seats and buy the time i'm done doing that I start to wipe the seats off.....if there is a nasty stain....you can really scrub that spot and do it agian and agian.....i've cleaned up some really nasty seats....let me know how you like the product....All the directions are on the can as well.Previous owner of 8 festivas... looking for number 9

Cleaning your seats in 5 easy steps
List of things your need:
Simple Green or Simple Green MAX (I like SG Max because it smells more like carpet cleaner than SG)
Large Detailer's brush (you can get one at Autozone for like 5 bucks)
A bucket of hot/warm water
Spray hose
1) Unbolt your seats and take them all out. You might need a breaker bar to get some of the bolts loose. 3 bolts and one nut hold them on. 2 bolts and 2 nuts for the rear seat. 14mm if i remember correctly
2) Spray them down with simple green or simple green max and scrub the heck out of the seats. Add hot water after a few scrubs to help loosen the dirt and grim
3) Spray off the seats every once and a while to check for cleanliness and completely spray all off when clean enough for you.
4) Let them dry in the hot sun for two days. (You CAN put them back in after day 1 but they will more than likely get your butt and back wet.
5) Bolt your newly cleaned seats back in your whip. Then hop in and cruise the town in your newly clean ride and pick up about 3 chicks...
In all seriousness I just did this to mine yesterday and they turned out great. I also found out that my seats are blue and gray... not just grey. Plus my back seat is blue and gray... not brown... like it used to be.

Hey Stefan.....
I noticed in an other post you said you really wanted a Euro gauge cluster.......well I have one....it reads up to 170km....yep not mph... it has a trip meter tach and fuel and temp gauge.....
I made a trade with DJ for it.....but I no longer need it because my car has a 323 GT cluster in it....
There is only 1 catch....the neddle for the speed broke(no longer moved) so DJ got a needle assembly from a U.S spec cluster and put it in....I don't know if it will read accuratly....I'd be willing to work somthing out with you if your interested....just send me a PM and we'll chat!Previous owner of 8 festivas... looking for number 9
