Eh - you missed nothing... 
Sleeper - I had my car on air, where the kit was literally an inch of the ground when I slammed it... I only had 1 problem EVER with road rash and that was when a left our camp I scrapped the road (coming out of a stoned parking area onto a road that was a few inches high) - Aside from that, you've got I'd say a good 3 or 4" at the bottoms of the kids and skirts which is more than enough room.
As for the intercooler... You're probably right about needing to hack it up... But with a bit of fiberglass skills, you could open the lower opening of that up pretty easily and have a sick looking kit.
