  • Broke my knobs.....

I have a split rear seat and the "pull knobs" that release the seat so it can be folded on either side have broke off and only the metal thread is left.....My other parts car's have their knobs still intact.......Aside from the comic value of this thred....is there a way to get those knobs out of the back of the seats and if so how??? I'd hate to have to find an other split seat just because of that.....finding those seats in good shape is not easy anymore...

    Anyone?

I have a feeling they would be the same from a normal bench seat. That aside, i would like to know how to remove them too, because before i throw out my old bench seat i would like to remove them for spares.

Im telling you they are only threaded if we are talking about the same pull knobs on top of the seat, just unscrew, righty tighty lefty loosey.

Ah man that's so funny...I just went out to my parts car and popped those suckers right out.....I Guess the reason I thought they would not screw out was they where not coming up at all as I turned them (fine thread).....well not that we have solved the worlds hardest problem... ......now comes the challange....the knobs in my car broke off and plastic is still down in the seat....i'm going to have to see if I can fit needle nose pliers down there to unscrew the rest.....

Thanks....I'm going to blame this on working out in the sun today for 12hours.......and I'm sticking to that!!
