Mine were an aftermrket product intended for either a first or second generation VW Rabbit. Didn't have to drill any new holes and I think they look great. Check out this photo: http://www.fordfestiva.com/forum/alb....php?pic_id=56Ian

^^ I got them at a store called Concept 1 here in Calgary www.concept1.ca. I would imagine that any VW focused aftermarket supplier would have them.Ian

Mazda 323 hatch. Honda Civic....just don't grab anything from a car with a really huge heavy hatch. Those will flip your hood over!
Some of the older 323s have a hinge at the base that's a little large, so you'll need to scrounge one from elsewhere. Just look around the wreckers for something that fits.

Auto parts stores have them around here. Like $20 each or something. Just find the right length and there you go. I need to get around to doing it some time.www.dantheoilman.com

the ones i got are perfect, the problem is the bottom hinge sits the strut about a 1/4" too high
part of the problem is my yard here is really small. not alot of cars to try fit up. the 323 i grabbed these off of is the first one they've had in awhile.89SX funtop! Fully loaded!
