  • Ideas for Upper Hatch Spoiler??

Alright, throwing this one out for suggestions. I trust everyone here has seen my car. Black and School Bus Yellow. Bats, all that. I am hoping that my upper hatch spoiler will be here in the next week, or so. So here's my question: The spoiler presently is flat black, do I leave it that way, make it yellow, or do something entirely different with it? :?:

    What do you think? :dontknow:

Get some extra fiberglass and extend that spoiler rearwards another foot or so. Then buy or craft some little bat sculptures and have them coming out from under the spoiler! Mount them on thin (yet rigid) wires so they move around in the wind.

Am I getting too creative here?

Maybe just leave the spoiler black and mount one bat underneath it with red LEDs for eyes. Hook the lights up to your brake circuit!

        Oooo...spoooooky!

Damn Karl, now you got me thinking about that one. Shouldn't be difficult at all to wire to my hatch brake light. Hmmmm.

Maybe hang several bats upside down like they are hanging from their cave.

I really like the "hanging bats" idea! Excellent refinement!

                    Now to refine it more...

Picture five bats hanging under your spoiler.

The middle one is hooked up as a third brake light.

The outer two on each side are turn signals!

                    (Or some combination thereof.)

Eye catching. And adds to safety. No can lose!

Make sure you don't hang a bat in the road for the rear wiper spray  . I like the idea of one bat with the brake lights but I don't like the turn signals so much.

88L, Base model, don't really have to worry about frills getting in the way. Think this one has one bell, and no whistles.
Been awhile since I looked at a spoiler up close, gotta wait until it gets here, figure out just how much room I have to play with, and take it from there. Dunno, could be at the end of the day, I just leave the damn thing alone and hook it up. Still thinkin' about the led lights, tho.
