  • Painting Festiva Steel Wheels

I just painted my spare set of wheels with Rustoleum metallic silver. I sanded and cleaned with brake cleaner before spraying and it came out nice. I had some left over VHT silver paint I considered using but I was concerned that the wheels wouldn't get hot enough to cure the paint. What paint have you used?

you just reminded me how upset with myself I am after tossing my mint lx gun metal wheels a couple months back from my project festy, they would be looking really nice on my daily festy at this point.

I painted mine with chrome paint. Turns out as a very shiny silver.

Is it a gloss black or a matte black? I was thinking of spraypainting mine until I get some new rims.
