  • what size tires for my rims

okay got a set of 15's probably coming soon, what do you all think I should get?

    205-50-15

    195-50-15

    195-55-15

Keep in mind that I will be lowering it, and having a pretty ridged suspension.

205's will prolly rub, 195's might

    55's will definitely rub.

185/50's are what might fit....but i dunno. Unless you roll your fenders and use spacers or something

I'll go with 195/45 or 185/50. I bought 195/45 but didn't have the chance to try them, they cost a lot more then 185/50.
Is that a Festiva that just passed me?!?!?!

I rolled my fenders and I run 14x6" MR2 wheels w/195/55/14 Kuhmo Victoracers without problems except for slight rubbing on the strut housing under crazy cornering at AutoX's... I would try 195/45's the smallest sidewall not only helps with handling characteristics but will give you the smallest diameter to save on acceleration and possible rubbing problems. Jim with the Yellow B6T is running 15's and I believe that's what he runs w/o problems. Good luck. -Kyle

Glacious, are 185/50-14s available in Canada?

I may be returning to the WE Fairbairn Close Combat Seminar up in Cobourn next fall and I could pick some up. Or some other "small" size. I know the mail order to the U.S. could get expensive.

I would jump at the chance to get 185/50-14s.
