  • Rattling in front end left side

So I think I have a blown struts finally from the coilovers, but since I have never had one I thought I would ask.

When I start off in 1st and the engine kind of shakes the car like it always does, I get a rattling noise that sounds like a bar bouncing on a soda can, a dull muffled metal on metal noise I mean.

Also since I have gotten my new tires on My car has a good shake around 40 mph, could this be caused by the blown strut? Or do I need an alignment. The alignment was fine with the old tires.

I would say check your alignment Gforcefd. I skipped an alignment once with my 18in mustang wheels when I first put those on. Same situation...alignment was good before, and I opted not to spend the 60-80 dollars. Well, that was a big mistake....it started chewing my new 18's, and they weren't as economical as the festiva tires.
