  • One for Aussie Festiva Owners.....

Hi every one this is my first post but i have been lurking around for a bit

my name is Craig and i Hail from Queensland,Australia

Anyway my question is about Suspension and Brakes.....

    I have a 1993 Festiva 5 door 1.3 5 Speed have owned it since new (13 yrs)

I have been wanting to do a brake upgrade for some time but have been lost as to what car to get the brakes from...

I would like to get four wheel disk brakes, Is this possible or not needed..And i need to retain my 114.3 wheel pattern as i have Laser TX3 rims

Now for the suspension question as most festiva owners in OZ would know there are no aftermarket lowered springs made for the WA/121 model...

but lowered springs are made for the WB-WF Festiva/Aspire now if i was to put Festiva/Aspire struts in with the lowered springs is this going to be lower that my standard suspension or the same height.....

sorry if this makes no sense but im lost as to what to do....I would love to slam my car but in OZ 97% of people think im mad as i want to modify my FESTIVA..........

    Thanks In Advance

I don't know of any easy brake upgrades without changing your bolt pattern. As for lowering springs, check with Festivamotorsport.com they probably would ship a set to AUS.

Brembo makes an uprated disk application. (I have it on my car) Green stuff makes uprated shoes (got this also) . All wheel disk has been done, but you'd have to change the bolt pattern, prolly the brake master cyl, the bias would be all messed... basically, unless your a master fabber, it's involved.
kyb & the sport springs from fms will lower by about 1.5 http://www.fordfestiva.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14476 gives you a pretty good idea of what the post lowering ride hight is.
