  • DESIGN: Cars that share Festiva rear suspension design

What is a popular car that has a rear suspension design similar to the Festiva ?

BTW, there are a lot more, but I need to find pictures of their setup.

GM J-body, Nissan B13 chassis, VW Passat, VW Rabbit, Toyota Corolla and Tercel... etc etc

There's A LOT of cars that have the same rear twist beam setup, but the VW Mk2 Mk3 Golf/Jetta/Cabrio is so similar that the rear struts interchange with very very minimal modifications.

Rear disc brakes on the VW. If I ever see an 1985-1992 VW A2 Golf / Jetta at the yard I'll have to grab the rear beam and see if the brakes and hubs fit the festiva.

the rear brakes are actually very close to fitting I've seen escort guys make an adaptor to fit them on so I don't think its far from a festy. and there easier to find on jetta's cause they made a ton of gli's that had them in the a2 series
