  • Aspire swap question

I did the aspire swap and I swapped to aspire tie rod ends and they did not come with grease fittings but are built for use with grease fittings. My buddy told me all the grease fittings are the same size and when I went to the store to pick some up I found out he was wrong and they actually come in many different sizes so now my question is what size is the correct size for aspire tie rod ends? Thanks in advance guys.

not sure what you mean? do you mean they ware tapped for grease fittings, but didnt come with them? never seen tie rod ends for our cars that are greasable but who knows.. if what you mean is the threads are there but no fittings... (which would be weird) maybe just buy a party pack? i know one of the local auto stores sells a pack with many sizes for like $10. I know because a friend and i were lookin at them because he was suggesting i try drill/tap my ends and ball joints and install grease fittings.

there are five different SAE sizes and four different metric sizes of Zerk (grease) fittings. I've not seen Aspire tierod ends with bores for Zerk fittings.

I've not seen "aspire" ends with the fittings either, but some of the escort ends (same part, different number and a lot cheaper) do have them... but i don't know what size you will need, get the ones that look right and if they don't work get the size that does work and return the others.
