Is there a sticky or write up on the kia rio brake swap? We got a 91 festiva I'm wanting to upgrade the brakes on. I Need to know what to pull at pick a part.

Anyone else with Rio front brakes please speak up.My 93 has a full aspire rear beam and brakes Kia Rio fry struts and brakes with aspire springs Stock festy rack just got back from measuring turning circle and there is approximately 7 feet of difference.I can send anyone pics of the two circles.I don't know what the deal is.The Rio spindles have a longer arm on them, maybe they don't turn as far in.Maybe the Rio steering racks have more travel IDK... What other steering knuckles by to Rio struts? As for the swap my car has Rio struts Escort tie rod ends, Rio knuckles, rotors,and calipers, I'm using VW golf mk2 GTI lug bolts as they are longer to go through the Rio rotors and thread into the Rio Hub..30 + Vehicle projects right now.7 Festiva/Mazda 10 GM IDK how many others,hope that helps explain all the stupid questions/shortcuts/interchanges etc. trying to liquidate so I concentrate on the good ones. Goal finish 1 amonth using as much stuff as I already have accumulated.Comment
