OK, after my meltdown 8 pages into this section, I went to the store, got me a beer or 70, came home, and decided to start from the other end, last to first, on pg 13 I find this lil gem!
This list includes center bore sizes, but not offset
but hey! it gets me a lil further 
From what I can find on the interwebz, the replacement wheels for these cars are all +40 offset, the same as a stock festy. I hope to verify whether some of these will work tomorrow. I will update in the afternoon if I can

MERCURY TOPAZ 88-90 13 X 5 4X114.3 59.6 H
MAZDA GLC 82-85 13 X 5.5 4X114.3 59.6 H
MAZDA 323 9 86-89 13 X 5.5 4X114.3 59.6 H
MAZDA RX7 GSL/SE 84-88 14 X 5.5 4X114.3 59.6 H
MAZDA 626 83-87 14 X 5.5 4X114.3 59.6 H
If these pan out, then this will help to answer the common question of what tires will bolt right up to a stock festy with no mods. Phew!
If anybody has a comment on whether they have used these successfully with no mods, that would be awesome!
