  • The importance of searching!!

As you can tell Im new here by the amount of posts. Ive had a Festie for about 6 months and just picked up an Aspire for parts(brake swap). To avoid asking too many questions I skimed each and every page in this topic forum reading up on my project. I cant belive how many times the same exact question is asked in the 14 pages I skimed. Im usually the one to lay back and be quiet but,

DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE :!:

Not to offend anyone but darn[Edit] I must of read 100 times which wheels can I fit or how to lift a Festiva or whatever.

Ok....Im ok now I just had to get that off my chest. I belive I know what I need to know About doing my swap. Thanks for reading 8)

Thankyou.....I wish more would search...I mean really search...not just look at the first page and say..I don't see it so I am gonna post it.....gets tiresome sometimes.

      I couldn't agree more....

I too have spent countless hours looking though pages and pages of old post and it was always full of info....

But sometimes the answer your looking just is not there....

And being from Australia sometimes your info doesn't work with our cars so sometimes questions need to be asked again but with more info to get a better idea....

A lot of times, the failure of the search function is the blame of the original poster.. titles like: "anyone ever......" or "to those......" and then nothing in the title till you open the post... that gets my goat.

Please, state concisely in the title, what the post is about... it helps EVERYONE!!

        rant off.

Im not saying people shouldnt ask questions. I was just venting to the fact that there are more than enough posts with the same question getting the same answer. If someone takes the time to look the anwers are more than likely there more than once.
