  • Rim Question

So i did some searching on here and i couldnt find a really clear answer.. but i think that i found a set of rims for my stiva... this is the message that i got from a friend...

"They are 14's and are 5.5 inches wide. I'm not sure on the offset but they are from a toyota cressida. I'll look tomarrow to see if it says anything on them. I have the centercaps somewhere around here too."

so my question is... before i drive 3 hours to pick them up.. will they fit on my 92 festiva... and if so what size tires would fit the best on them??

    thanks for any help

if they are four lug, then they should fit. google; bolt pattern chart, hit the second link and toyota. it says they are 6 in wide though.

i beleive the ones i have are 5.5, but i dont know. im runnin 175/60's i think. i had to space the back a little and get actuall lug studs, but they look cool.

For tires I recommend 195/45/14. They fit without and problems and they are almost the same diameter as stock tires so the speedometer is still accurate.

All Festivas 88-93 are the same size bolt pattern. 4 x 114.3

Hmm just noticed why youre confused. It says 4 x 100 in that list.
I can edit my posting but I got that from another list someone else had posted.

i just picked up a set of steel wheels of a miata today.
they are 4x100mm bolt patern, and 14"x5.5" with 185/60R14 tires..

the bolt patern works since i alredy have aspire brakes.

and the tires clear everything with no issues.

i dont know what the backspacing is and it has stock springs (not lowered...)

the tires looked like they wouldent clear, but in actuality they are the same diamater as the 155/80r13 tires they replaced...= or- a quarter inch...

its amazing how a festiva starts to look more like a real car and les like a gokart with some proper rubber.....

I just put a set of aluminum mags on my stock festiva with 175/65R14 tires and they dont rub, it is very close at the rear lower spring mount.
Ran it a bit and blew some tight corners to try and make it rub but they did not rub.
Not sure about the width of the wheel, was offered them and they have dual bolt patterns. SOLD!
Will fit stock tiva and aspire swap

As soon as I can find my memory stick I will post some pics.
