Wheel studs on stock Festiva?

Has anyone done a stud conversion on the stock Festiva hub?

Could I just put some 'automotive grade' metric studs in the bolt holes? Maybe use Lock-Tite?

'88 Festiva L, stock carby engine (with exhaust upgrade), 4 speed tranny. Aspire Struts and Springs, Capri 14" wheels, interior gutted, battery in back
