For those who are too lazy with the link, here is how to see what date your tires are manufactured. There is a section on the tire that has the 'DOT' and numbers...
at the very end there should be either a 3 digit number (1990's) or a 4 digit number (2000's).

The first 2 digits of this number is the week of the year the tire was manufactured.
The last 1 or the last 2 says the year.
Example:
458 would be 45th week of 1998
1205 would be 12th week of 2005
324 would be the 32nd week of 1994

I just went out and checked my front 165/70-12 Signets on Twinstiva.

"BM1500." Guess that would be the 15th week of 2000, eh? Eight years old.

Checked my full size Firestone 155/80-12 spare: "1904." Newer.

My rear 155/80-12s were on the inside, so I had to do some work and bend down, looking under the car to their inside walls. The year was '04 on both.
