im not into cars, but recently bought one of those manuals to tune up a 1997 ford aspire. everything was actually doable except for the lying book and replacing the timing belt. had to have a mechanic do that.
anyways i searched around sites like this and assumed that click click noise was the axles so i replaced them and it was still happening, only when turning to the right.
by chance when doing all the work i noticed a cracked rim and has it replaced just in case, and sound gone.
oh well, the original front bearings and axles were already at 120,000 and fried and needed replacing anyways
