  • Festiva springs on Aspire

Has anyone ever tried Festiva springs on the Aspire? If so what happened? I know I'll be flamed for asking a question like this but that's o.k.

FLAME FLAME FLAME FLAME!!!!!!!!

If you get rid of all excess weight in that Aspire, it might actually work. You'd lower the car a bit (or a "bit too much") but loose some spring stiffness in the front.

I doubt it would work well.

    But WHY WHY WHY?

I was asking because in one of the junkyards there is a festiva with what appears to be brand new KYB GR-2. The problem is the junkyard doesn't want to sell me the shocks by themselves.

          Not bad at all!

I should think if you put in Aspire springs they will do okay. Just watch inner tire clearance on the rears where they come close to the lower spring perch.
