    Are Gabriels good? I can buy Monroe cheaper than that...

    This is not a sport-touring-autocross car. :p This is just a cheap little car to ease the pain at the gas pump. Unfortunately cheap has gotten less cheap as I keep finding and fixing small issues.
    88 LX - Twin turbo, Intercooled :p

      If the shop told you the lower control arm bushing was worn, I'm very suprised they tried to align it. If you get suspension movement there, you will change the toe-in everytime there is movement there. If that bushing is bad, the ball joint may also be bad for additional toe change. I'd look at both lower control arms and probably change them out. It wouldn't be with the cheap Auto Zone ones, either. Get a quality control arm. Around $40-$50 bucks each.

        I just went with the Gabriels as an example. It was just what happened to pop up at Autozones website. Others may disagree, but I like Monroes myself.
