  • AG Lowering springs - $99 USD

Hey all, I was shopping for lowering springs for my 93L and found about a half-dozen suppliers around the world - particularly across the pond. At the time I decided to go with Apex springs which I ordered through the Canadian distributor. One of the manufacturers that I was trying to source is AG from south america. I could not find a distributor in the USA that was willing to special order the springs for the Kia Pride though. Today I came across a vendor that lists the AG springs for the Kia Pride for $99 USD plus shipping ($26 to California). Just thought I would pass this info along to anyone that is looking for a lower priced kit and willing to try a lesser known brand. Here is the info:

    Part number:
"agkit95" - 06/91-96 Kia Pride 1.1/1.3 AG Performance Lowering Springs

    Link:
Body kits are our specialty! More than 45 brands of body kits all in one store. We sell carbon fiber hoods, lambo doors, and ground effects.

    Enjoy!
I'm going to come at you like a spider monkey!

that is really cheap, almost too good to be true, the shipping is probably where they make there money

          1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
          1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

apex springs? How much did you pay? and what was the distributor you used in canada??
I'm looking to go back to spring rather than coil overs for a smoother ride. If I can order them in canada thats a bonus!

I think the Kia Pride application is for 1991 to 1996, but any year Pride is worth consideration as long as it is not the Wagon version... I assume the wagon would have stiffer spring rates and possibly a different ratio as well.

The Apex springs are for the Mazda 121 DA which is the same as the Pride and Festiva as we all know. I was surprised that it was not listed as a Kia Pride application as well as the 121 DA 1988 - 1991, but upon inspection I was happy to see that they do in fact fit and they only lower the car 30mm so it gave me more clearance than the FMS springs would have. Here is the link to Apex http://www.apexsuspension.com/
