    are these the same exept for the coils or what are te diffrences.
    I did the search and did not find the answers I was looking for.
    Anything for a Festiva:thumbup::thumbright:

    i think the diffrence is the shock length. the aspire one is 1 inch longer, i think....

      Front struts are the same as far as I can tell.

      Rear struts for the Aspire have a higher bottom spring perch. About 3/4" higher, IIRC.

      If you are going to a larger tire size, use Aspire rear struts for more tire clearance.

      I doubt the front ones matter in standard strut brands including KYB. Other more exotic or older brands may differ.

        I don't know about other part manufacturers, but a front Aspire Monroe SensaTrac strut is harder to compress than the same thing for a Festiva. If you put them side by side and try to push the strut rod down, the Aspire is somewhat harder to push than the Festiva.

                The cops probably wouldn't have any sense of humor if we drove our car on the highway to go to a meet.

                  Yeah, Williamsport's 'Barney Fife' isn't very understand of "purpose built" vehicles....

                  Especially at about 85mph on Reach Road....

                    Now that we have hijacked WC's thread, were you actually ON Reach Road or were you on I-180/220 at the Reach Road exit? If you were on Reach Road, I think the speed limit is about 35 mph (never really paid attention). No wonder "Barney" was upset.
