Do you think it would benefit at all? Some people say yes, some no.
Current cars:
1993 Ford Festiva 5-Speed - Festiclese III - Cousin of the Banhammer - "The Jalopnik Car"
1984 Toyota Cressida - 2JZGE Swap, Turbocharged.
2013 Mazda Mazda2 - Exhaust and Wheels (the daily)
2002 Toyota Tundra - V6/Auto/2WD - The Tow Vehicle.
I know Id be better off with it, I'm wonder if this would help at all.

I believe those floor braces originally came about as a way to mount the lower belts in a 4 or 5 point harness without going with a full cage, but someone along the way got the idea that they helped strengthen the chassis too and started marketing them as such.
I don't see how a brace that close to the floor could help.
A few small braces under the bottom of the car, crossing the "transmission" hump might help a little bit, but they might also interfere with installing a larger exhaust.
My friend had this in his WRX. It did stiffen it up a tad, I'm sure it would make a bigger difference in a Festiva though. I'm not sure if I would trust 17 bucks to hold my seat belt harness. If it was a "Real Name" one I'd trust it, seen it done many times.
I think I'm gonna get it when I have the money. its $36 shipped, I can't really lose. If it doesn't do anything then I'll just leave it in and say it strengthens the body anyway.
