  • Rare find? have you seen these rims?

so i got a set of 13in rims they appear to be stock but im not sure what they came off of. they are 4x114.3 they where on my old festiva that i bought from a friend. the story on how he got them was from some polish guy he met at a junkyard who had some festiva parts this was many years ago before i even knew what a festiva was! i know i posted this long ago and someone said a car but i cant rember. I was thinking of cleaning them up and polishing or powder coating them. i think there 1 of a kinds

What material are these? If steel, are they starting to rust? They don't look like steel. Are they true and run straight? What size tires could be mounted on these? Do you have other rims too? Looks like AR Estrella on the signature photo.

They look quite familiar, but I can't place them at the moment. I want to say they came off a Tempo. They look like aluminum.

clean up the backside of one of the rims, and look for casting marks. You should find numbers like 5.5JJ, foundy ID markings, possibly a country of origin. Post whatever you find, and we might be able to tell you what they came off of. They did not come off of a Ford, those center caps were added. Ford never mixed bright center caps with painted wheels.

definately not a Tempo. Besides, all Tempo/Topaz and 81-90 Escort were 4x4.25" bolt circle, wouldn't fit a Festy.

I'll go along with a Hyundai, or maybe a Nissan. The center caps threw me off. They do look awfully familiar. I'm sure it will hit me at around 3am and then I'll be compelled to post it. LOL

yeah those center caps are from escort lx wheels But... I think the Scoupe had 6 spokes wheels. I like those a lot though... I'm with hawkdoc on the Nissan idea
                  No festiva for me ATM...
