Yeah, the rims. I currently own an MR2 (1987). It'd be kinda cool to see those rims on a Festiva.
    Current cars:

1993 Ford Festiva 5-Speed - Festiclese III - Cousin of the Banhammer - "The Jalopnik Car"
    1984 Toyota Cressida - 2JZGE Swap, Turbocharged.
2013 Mazda Mazda2 - Exhaust and Wheels (the daily)
    2002 Toyota Tundra - V6/Auto/2WD - The Tow Vehicle.

i just checked an online program and compared to 165/70r12's, a car running 185/60r14's will be going 70 when the speedometer reads 64.9mph

1988 Ford Festiva LX; EFI swapped in...actually everything swapped in

yeah but find a car with a big digi readout at night and pace them... the festiva speedo seems to read dead on with the 185/60/14s, and a bit higher than it should with the factory tires. And I know GPS units aren't the most accurate guage of speed, but all of them seem to agree with my speedo better when I run the 14s. The protege speedos have the same gearing as the festiva, and they came with 185/60/14s from the factory IIRC so maybe the factory tires just make the speedo read fast, instead of the larger tires making it read slow?
          No festiva for me ATM...

yeah, I remember that thread I think me and you were the only one that said that were right But yeah, if you just pace a car (like a new civic or something) that has the 3" tall digital dash readout for the speedo, you will see
              No festiva for me ATM...

From what I've heard all you have to do is make sure the offset is right in order to fit them.

no adapters, i run a 14x6 w/ a +35 offset and i JUST touch the GR-2 festy rear spring perch durring HEAVY cornering. i did roll the fenders a touch and when the rear is in full jounce (compleatly compressed), the tires kiss the rear bumper support pinch weld.

Oh no !!!!!! Another tire question, sorry, by putting bigger tire on a festiva does this mean that you have to change the braking system to a large onem, just asking thanks for the input

As long as your not putting 22s on it you should be fine.
