      last pic!

      last pic!

So I'll try rotating the strut and maybe cut the spring 1.5 inches... think maybe I'm just missing something here??

Hey what do you guys think of just installing the old Festiva strut/springs assym. back? It would fix the height issue and help with the camber?

I used the original Festiva struts and springs when I did mine and everything worked out perfect.

yes!!! use the festy struts and springs, the added spring rated of the aspire springs is throwing your geometry way off. i noticed that your LCAs are aiming down from the chassis, the should be level with the ground.

Hello! Well I drove the festiva onto level ground in my garage then loosed the bolts for the strut towers on top and at the hub, I then kind of bounced the car up and down a few times and all of a sudden... the camber is good! I then found out the driver's side strut center bolt was NOT TIGHT! Did that, bounced the car a few more times then tightened up everything.

I then measured the front and back of the front tires, center of tire to center of tire and found my toe was ... bad.

I adjusted everything to have a slight toe in and now everything rides SMOOTH!

OK, well the ride height is a little high but I think I'll just cut the springs... Either that then just swap the festiva shocks back in. Hey so the brakes are awesome... ! I got all my brake stuff off an automatic festiva and man they are so much bigger!

Welp finally got around to putting my aspires passenger seat in and hooking up the tunes, etc. Guess its time to clean everything up and start with a paint job!

              Thanks guys!

You mean you used "automatic ASPIRE" brakes.

All Festiva rotors and caliper mounts are the same.

As for the ride height, unless you really want that additional height, I'd cut the coils at least one coil. Preferably 1.25 to 1.5 coils.

                The two main issues:

                1. SAFETY!!

                2. You are happy with it.

so where in the original post did you mention that you are using the Aspire springs????

which will change the ride height and changes alignment specs

                  I am the original

Safety Guy : Your right! From an Automatic Aspire. I was typing too fast !

You are completely right, I have to feel it out and see which way I want to go but I'm still thinking of going back to the Festiva coil-overs.

Is there any real reason to go with the aspire coil-overs? Are the springs harder or what... ?

the aspire springs are rated higher both front and rear. if you'd want a more controled ride, use the aspire struts and cut 1.5 coils out to bring the front down to where it should be.
