thanks! kinda have the Jamaican color theme goin' on there. well, i do have all those TEIN stickers they provide with the coilovers. That will certainly net me the desired HP!
so i re-test fitted my honda wheels last night. hmm, seems they do clear. fairly close. definitely no balancing weights on the inside lip or rim surface. maybe it was because i didn't have everything totally bolted up that things didn't line up.
so, how much clearance are you guys getting with 13" wheels with the aspire setup? it is amazing how much thicker/larger the Aspire automatic rotors are.
I think i will definitely investigate a stud kit in the future though. It truly is a pain juggling the wheel and bolt and rotor on install.Last edited by Arnie; 05-15-2009, 08:53 AM.

Yeah, its weird. Well, nothing a spacer won't solve. I wish i had done a more careful comparison of the festiva knuckles compare to aspire as well as the kyb strut's lower clevis compared to the TEIN. Wondering how different the shapes are.
Actually, the really crap thing is if I use my camber bolt the wheel will probably contact the strut if I don't use a spacer. Maybe even if i do. I'll see how much neg camber I have once i have it on the ground.

Yeah, I would prefer the panasports but its just too much money to spend on the festiva. My friend had panasports on his festiva back in 92. though i saw a set on craigslist for a miata for $850 with tires, but they were 7" wide. I would definitely need the riveted on fenders for them.
or these for 500
Perhaps I'll just keep these and throw snow tires on them for the winter. Because, we get so much snow here in Socal! :lol:Last edited by Arnie; 05-15-2009, 04:17 PM.

Yeah there are certain types of cars where the add on flares are just part of the mystique. On others, it just looks ghetto. Though I'm not sure how they would be on the festiva because the fenders are kinda of squarish, slab sided. And the wheel openings sit kinda low on the body.
though, hmm, might be cool:
