Ok since I have this capri I am about to part I wonder about the brakes.

I can find the rotor diameter of the Capri brakes, 10.2", but what size are the Aspire units?

remember, there are 2 sizes for the aspire, that's why the autos are more desireable.

The autos are thicker @ 23mm vs 16mm thick for the manual rotors

I bought the manual trans rotors. Are the auto Aspire rotors larger in diameter too?

That is what Arty was referring to in his response...I believe.
But I would think you would have to buy the rotor for the hub you took off of the car, depending on if it was manual or auto.

So these Capri brakes are actually larger by an inch.

Aspire = Better hubs and rotor config with more wheels.
Capri = Larger and in stock now.

And I have these VX wheels already for the Aspire swap. Man, decisions.

Aspire is good....and if you have rims for it already then go for it. The Capri swap keeps the standard Festy pattern.

isnt the capri brakes the same as the escort? If so I think some gt wheels would look cool on a festiva.
