  • 14's vs 15's

Hey everybody I think I see this thread somewhere but anyways, I'm planning to buy a set of rims for my killa pride I'm now on 13's but I'm thinking of 14's my friend is saying that I should use 15's but I don't want too much weight on the front end is the 14's better than 15's

I personally think 15's look just a tad big on festivas.

I'm partial to 13's my self....they look the best, and the alloys are lighter than the stock steelies.

The car has FMS lowering springs with KYB super struts. It handles really nice! I have a set of Teins coilovers to put on. The tires are Toyo Proxes 195/45/14. I haven't had any trouble out of the front end and have had this set up since 2001.

I had 13's, too skinny for me. Went to 15's. Not super pretty but effective and relatively cheap. I'm riding on new "stock" style shocks/struts and original springs.

                        Nexxen 195/45R15's

http://www.tires-easy.com/ Best price and availabiliy I could find for that size. Most places had 50 series but I needed the 45 series to make sure there was no rubbing.

I got the idea from fellow board member "thirdman". If you do an advanced search under his name you can find his thread for details.
