  • sway bar questions

    i have exhausted the search button on this site and i dont know if im tired or what but i cant find any information on factory sway bars here. just looking for diameters if anybody has them or knows them let me know.

    festiva?
    aspire (manual)?
    aspire (auto)?

    aspire is thicker. Unsure of the diameter, no difference between auto aspire and manual.

      What is this requirement you have to physically assault turtles, and what weapon(s) did you have in mind to do so?

            the stock sway bar on a manual festiva is 7/8 inch thick...
            the stock sway bar on a manual aspire is 1 inch thick...
            the stock one on a auto aspire i think is 1, 1/16 inch thick but im not to sure.. ill have to check in the morning...

              this is rear only sway bar right?

              -"Hairlipstiva" 1991 GL 5spd (swapped from an auto), rolling on Enkei 14x6 +38 with 195/45/14 Toyo's, Jensen MP5720 CD deck, tach install, LED strip in cluster, down position rear wiper, FMS springs, Gabriel shocks on 4 corners, Acura Integra short shifter
              -Escort GT 91 donor car with BP, G5M-R tranny to be dropped in the little guy...

                No they're talking about front sway bars, the festiva rear suspension beam has no swaybar, and the aspire has a built-in one.
                -93' L BP swap/e-series, coilovers, RIO front swap, redrilled festy drums, Miata 14" 7 spokes.

                  thanks for the diameters and for the laughs. come to think of it i have never even seen a turtle in real life, i should probably check one out some time at the zoo or a pond
