I ordered new aspire lower control arms inner and outer tie rod ends 323 kyb gr2 front struts and kyb oem aspire rear struts and will be sitting on civic coilovers. Today i got the front and rear suspension pulled out and just waiting on the new parts to come in the mail ill post up some pics asap. I cant wait till its finished so i can go run the autocross events.

can not find the answer....are you sure you need the Aspire LCA's?...I thought you still needed to use the Festy LCA's and just changed to the Aspire or Escort (for price) tie rod ends

I'm pretty sure that the Aspire LCAs are longer than the Festivas. Where did you find the Aspire LCAs by the way?

I believe most replies I have found advise against using Aspire LCAs because they are longer then Festiva LCAs.
            Example
Discuss improvements to your Festiva or Aspire in the handling, braking, wheels and tires areas.

ok so what I remembered is correct....the Aspire is longer. In an auto-x car it may not matter to much but on a daily driver will it not throw the struts out of whack causing tire wear and steering issues?

I'd just use the festiva LCA's

                  1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

It gives you more camber but no steering issues at all. He stated that he wants to auto-x it and besides in his case Im sure the welded spider gears in his trans already do wonders for tire wear.

I dint know I never measured it but its visable to the eye.

187- like I said before make sure you use the Aspire axles too or you will have a problem with them popping out. The LCA's are a 1/4 inch longer.

yeah make sure your axles are proper length with those. when i did my no-crossmember tweak to get my motor lower the first set of mounts i built were too far to one side and liked to pop the drivers axle loose around hard cornering.

Some recentering fixed her but still sucks to be stranded on the side of the road on your maiden test voyage because an axle popped!
