right now 13 or 14" steels with the 4x4.5 stupid pattern would suit me. I'm gonna put smooth covers on them anyway, for aero purposes. just need something i can buy decent tires for and buy locally. >.<

Not sure if this is the right place to ask or not, but I am wondering if I can run 14" rims on my stock 91 Festiva? Or will the hubs and stuff not take the extra weight and tire size? My 12" are getting pretty toast and i was hoping to upgrade abit.
                  Thank you.

In most cases it will be ok. Some aftermarket rims may have a offset that will rub. If you stay with a 14 x 5.5 rim fwd offset it shouldn't be a problem.

Mine were on stock hubs, stock suspension. Had to go with spacers, mainly for the rears, and longer lug bolts, but I had no problem with them. Unless I hit a speed bump a bit to hard. Mine was an 88L, btw.

yeah, but it was the aura of fear around you from the mutations due to all the animal bites.
The car was scared you'd change into a werewolf or something and tear it's back leg off.

The picture you see of my car has the stock hubs and is lowered with 14's and wide tires. They have been on there for about 6 years or more without any issues.

Thank you all for the responses! I really appreciate it! My Brotherinlaw had a nice set of 14" mag rims and tires on his Geo Metro, and has gone to other tires so said i could have them, so thought i might check them out more.
