FMS springs are a progressive rate spring on one end. i believe the fronts would be the progressives since they bear more weight?

The FMS springs aren't progressive, but the rears are dual rate. The closer coils compress easier than the wider coils.
If you want to raise it an inch use aspire struts. I think those are about an inch longer, maybe a little more.OX SMASH!!

The spring perch sits about an inch higher. I just used a set to give me the clearance I needed to clear the 175/70/13 tires I got for a set of my Konigs. Before the swap, using Festiva rear struts, I had to AT LEAST use a 3mm spacer to clear the perch. This also raised the rear about 1/2 to 3/4".

Nothing in the back..... The perch on the GR2s for the festiva *just* tiged the edge of the tire static. As the tire pressure came up, and the tire would grow just that little extra down the road, it would rub enough to get the tire edge hot, and smoke. I first tried the spacers, but Finding a longer lug bolt or stud/nut setup just did not work either. The Aspire strut just gave the exact clearance I needed, and now I can run an easily aquired Michelin that I am hoping I can actually get some mileage out of, unlike the 175/60/13s I am trying to move away from.
