There is a thread on the archive forum about using escort gt rear brakes. This involves fabricating a bracket. But for the life of me I cannot figure why anyone would need rear discs on a festiva. Do the aspire swap. The festiva rear is so light during hard braking. If you increase the brake force too much they will lock up all the time. And if you proportion it so they don't lock up they will have the same force as the drums. The only benefit would be brake fade if you race.

I have rear disc's but I also have a subframe and rear end to carry around. So far I would say the car uses them and no ill effects. May be alot different on a lighter car.

      Thanks
